High resolution 3D imaging devices, such as the u-CT,
provide detailed morphological information regarding 3D
structures of materials. Their capability in revealing submicrometer
level details of objects make these devices very
attractive for material engineering and medical studies. In addition
to this, availability of low cost solutions in the market
make it common to obtain a u-CT device for many research
groups around the world. These create a growing demand
for analyzing microstructures of materials and tissues with
effective image processing techniques.
Below are some of my publications for analyzing microstructures.
